Types of Areca nut:-

There are Three types of Areca nut, those are-

• The Red variety of Areca nut.
• The White variety of Areca nut.

• 1. The Red Areca nut-

This type of nuts are prepared after the harvesting of tender nuts, also de-husking and Boiling them at a certain temperature in huge copper vessels. Examples like Bette, Saraku, Api, etc.

• 2. The White Areca nut-

The white areca nut is produced from which the fully riped Areca nut is harvested and then drying it in sun for about 2 months.
